E.) How long have you been playing WoW?: since Beta, technically, healed in vanilla as undead priest, tanked and healed as druid in bc, but on/off, stopped right after WoLC, came back right after 3.3. came out.

(Bother this person to speak up on your behalf in this thread, btw.): Cantacas/Canticas i've ran ICC 10 with him, i think i was the only pugged person, still amazed by that run, precision, tactics, timing, considering the lvl of gear, i'd call that a very good run. That pretty much is the main reason i wanted to apply to Ravenous. Maturity of players, mutual coordination and reliability is what draw me in.

A.) How did you hear about us?: Stated that above, and reiterate, i've run ICC 10 with mostly Ravenous people, and was amazed by the people and results.
B.) What are you looking for in Ravenous?:Raiding with ppl that are mature and coordinated.
C.) Have you read the "Who are we?" section? -- Yes.
D.) We have a zero tolerance policy for current members applying to other guilds (We understand applicants). Do you acknowledge this?: Yes I do
E.) Bonus points here if you can tell us one Ravenous guild raiding tradition. (Hint: Browse the website, ask a guild member, or check other apps... do your homework.) Be prepared. to quote the "who are we" section: "read up on fights and have consumables for raids. This is the ‘hardcore’ aspect."

You say you cannot guarantee to be home by 7pm. Can you at least guarantee to be ready to raid by 7:45 on our raid nights ?

I also noticed in your app that you are applying to us because you liked the way a 10 man was handled.

Make no mistake , We are very good at what we do. There are times however we will make mistakes. Can you roll with the punches and not give up ? can you maintain a decent composition when others want to hit babies ?

Also how is your internet connection ?

7:45 is about the time i usually get online, been coming home between 7:30 and 7:50 most of the time.
I work for tech support, handling tough situation, screaming brokers, and impossible deadlines is what i do for a living. Mistakes and "let's do it again, and with feeling" is nothing new to me.

A solid application in my opinion. Dracmeer already asked the questions that came to my mind after reading it and they were answered very well. Considering the many fine points of the application, I believe Tridias is someone we would want in our guild as a raider. The fact that Canti has taken him on his ten-man run leads me to believe he is competent, and his answer to 3-F on the application template (the "make up your own question and answer it" part) leads me to believe he has our special brand of humor. Though there are other points that are worth mentioning, those two stuck out the most. We all can benefit from having competent, easy-going raiders on our roster, and based on his application, Tridias is just that. This application has my approval, which isn't much, but still counts for something, right? ;)

Stats and socketing look fine, though you're quite a ways over hitcap, so you could probably benefit a little from swapping that gem in your weapon, but that's a small thing.

The only thing I'd be concerned with is your knowledge of the fights, looking at your recent activity shows your first 10m kills of ICC bosses, with Cant's group I assume, you don't seem to have hardly any raiding experience in WotLK. Strats are easy enough to learn for most people, but at the point where we're at it'd be rather a bit of a pain to teach someone every fight you know?

Naeko, i'm a very quick learner, and wow-wiki, wow-head, boss- tactics addon, DBM, have a lot of info on each fight, so the teaching i think will be very limited.
I understand that there is a difference between reading info and actually having exp in the fight, but i think i can do quite well between reading/studying online info myself, listening to DBM, (not being a fat kid standing in fire) and having a few guiding words from raid leader over vent.
Yes you're correct that i have little experience in ICC, the only Ace i have left is that that 10man ICC run with Cantacas went pretty smooth.

can u provide us a parse of a fight ? to know what kind of DPS u can output on single target ?

well last 10 man icc, that managed to get into, did an average of 5.3k on saurfang, the only good test would be in another raid, since i think target dummies travel in packs now a days. (ok 'travel' might be too much of a word here), but i digress...

i'll start logging the combat log, the only question remains how do you want me to get it to you?

just to update, i've gotten a new weapon and boots since the original post.
axe of Saufrang and boots of battleship battle.

i got the file for 16, it was a different group this time and we wipped 2x on saufrang and tank left and rest followed, never got to down him that time.

I feel like I'm intruding on something serious here as well, but i feel an update on my part is required.

I've haven't gotten much chance to play last week or so, since my cousin that i haven't seen in like 7 years came over from Russia.

I've been trying to show her around so she's not bored to death.

Only had enough time for daily 2 frost and managed to scramble and tank weekly last night.

Also got a cloak from frost vendor as the old was beyond bad.

Downed a Fester with 25 man. Since there is no moving jumping or anything there for melee, managed to push around 7.3k dps.

Over all i'm in a pickle at the moment stuck between workload increasing and family dropping in. I still like to join your wonderful guild, but for next 2 weeks probably will not be able to put in the effort you guys deserve.

Can we 'freeze' this convo till later on?
